The only thing that can be said about Olwen, Olgoch and Olddu with any consistent certainty is that one is a poet, one an enchanter and one an archivist. Olddu is usually the eldest; Olwen the most outspoken; Olgoch the most cantankerous but perhaps the kindest. Though as their names and even their personalities change, that's not the best guide. All three are prophetesses; all three, it is said, can see things beyond the ken of normal people.

It is also rumoured that the Sisters will help anyone who makes his way to their cave, be he artist, adventurer, healer or scholar–but that their help comes at a price.
