Andar'Guzel'Es'Fra was a captain in the Aquienos war fleets when the Arkhivian War started. As the admiralty was decimated in the Arkhivian first strike Andar took the position of Admiral and then soon afterwards High Admiral of the War fleet. It was under his leadership that the Arkhivians were driven from the seas and back to the north and the allied forces were transported to the north were the arkhivians were defeated.

It wasn't long after the end of the Arkhivian war that the true enemy revealed themselves. After the Admiral accompanied an Explorer fleet expedition to the east where the Numinans were first sighted. The Admiral's immediate preparations were critical in holding back the first wave of the unknown enemy. However, it is well known that violence was not his first option and that he attempted to deal with the numinans diplomatically before firing a shot.

Once the war had joined though Andar continually worked on new ways to combat the Numinan monoliths, developing strategies to more effectively damage the solid structures and analyzing the strategies of the enemy to work out how best to maneouver them to where he wanted. With his close friend Admiral Mar they worked hard to ensure that the other races of Djemity had time to prepare their defences.

Andar continued to lead the warfleet in attacks against the further waves of the Numinan agressors. He continued to try to seek some way of finding peace but with little success. However, his desire for peace did nothing to dull his response in combat. He helped lead the allied forces across the eastern sea to the continent of Balas where the penultimate battle with the Numinans took place. With the forces of the allied races and the power of the stars behind them the numina were destroyed, surrendered unconditionally or fled into the star sea.

Knowing that the Numinans sought to repair their ultimate weapon, the red moon, the admiral made one final push. With the best of the aquienos fleet he sought the help of the starguides against the Numina. With the help of the Navigators, in particular Utu'Manitou'Fra a quick route to the starsea was forged and Andar led the armada with Djemity's greatest heroes on board. The final battle with the Numinans was blessed by the intervention of the four Starguides, blessing the Admirals with their strengths. Under the High Admiral's blessed leadership the numinans seemed like putty, falling one after another in their attempts to break through the allied lines and to defend their superweapon until the battle was finally won by the strike force on the blue moon.

After the Numinan war the War Fleet became a lot less important among the aquienos. From a prominent attack force they became a defensive force, concentrating on patrolling the waters dealing with the more routine matters of sea monsters and the pirates that sprung up in the wake of the war and the economic crisis that followed.

Andar moved into the realm of politics, lending his leadership skills to the development of the Fleets. He helped implement the new Aquienos advisory council and sat on it for many years helping to advise the home fleet and provide a guiding for the whole fleet. He was key along with Maya'Thra'Mas in setting up the early settlements on Balas, strongly strengthening the aquienos trade concerns.

The last thing that marks Andar out as the greatest High Admiral since history began was his founding of a Naval Academy for the more experienced Admirals and captains to be able to pass on their skills to the younger captains of the fleet. The Mar Naval School, often known informally as Andar's academy, has taught all of the current Admirals of the war fleet and several of the praetor captains have had an education with the Naval School. One of the most famous graduate of the school was Mara'Guzel'Mas. The chimera child of Mar'Kaven'Fra, adopted by Andar after Mar's disappearance. She went on to be the first Chimera High Admiral of the Aquienos War Fleet.
