In the world of Djemity, news travels fast, borne on the fleetest of Aquienos Ships, flown across the land in Sylphim Floating Isles, or whispered through miles of stone by Teklo Wordsmiths. Of course, as fast as news and official reports travel, rumour and hearsay are quicker to spread throughout the world.
Official Reports are released.
Kirlsa warbands have successfully overwhelmed the Arkhivian defenses in the Northern Isles. Removing the enemy presence from the Isles means Arkhivian raiders must travel from the Ice wastes without stopping for resupply which will greatly reduce the number of ships that are able to make the journey. Commanders are tentatively suggesting that this should reduce the number of attacks on civilian targets, such as the Padadia (see below). High Warleaders Gravaldon and Firessh as well as High Guardian Sahara are honored with the victory.
Other reports are that a successful raid was conducted on the Arkhivian harbor at the top of the Needle's Passage inlet. With this taken out it is hoped that most of the large ships of the Arkhivian navy will be unable to load new troops and supplies, as intelligence suggests there are no other points on the Ice Wastes where a deep keeled ship can make port.
The next step for our brave forces must be to rebuild ports and strongholds upon the Northern Isles and to sieze a permanent beachhead upon the Ice Wastes.
The so-called Pirate King Ghariel'Hooke also known as Jean'Lowe'Tru'Fra has been put to death. The pirate surrendered himself to authorities and was executed at the hands of the Admiral's of the War Fleet.
The execution was performed before a crowd of hundreds of thousands of Aqueienos, gathered aboard their Praetor ships to see an end to this terror of the seas. The Pirate King's last words were shouted out to the crowd and have traveled to every corner of Djemity.
“My treasure is yours for the taking, but you'll have to find it first. I left everything I own in one place.”
These words have sent hordes to join the Explorer Fleet to search for the uncounted riches looted by the famous buccanneer.
Rumors spreading rapidly through the fleet.

A Teklo Report to the Senate Committee for the Prosecution of the War
A combined force of Teklo and Kirlsa troops engaged the main force of Arkivians on the Plains of Zhaar. Warden Dach Fra Ver lead his Iron Legion, and several further legions from the Poleis of Jesu, Heid and Kinte, whilst Warleader Gravaldon leader a larger force of Kirlsa Warriors down from the Mosel.
The enemy were smashed against the banks of the Senn River, with losses below what was expected.
The Scholars would wish to note the courage and skill of the Becquerel Talioc and Raegfas and the Kirlsa Eumelos, who accompanied the armies and caused great slaughter of the enemy. Furthermore is requested that the Committee put forward a motion of thanks foremost to our Kirlsa allies and to the Becquerel people for their aid in this matter.
Storms rage around the area which used to be the site of Lokastila's Quarry. Travellers from around Djemity report that the shaft of lightning formerly anchored to the ground is missing, leaving only a small tunnel going deep into the earth. Terrible thunderstorms now rage around the area, spitting lightning far and wide.
The Sylphim Isle of Vyse has touched down inside the Blighted Lands. No explanation has yet been provided for its fall, but observers have noted that for several minutes it seemed to plummet headlong towards the ground before righting itself and coming to a gentle stop.
Some have voiced concerns that the isle's landing may have disturbed the large numbers of flesh-eating horrors that make their homes in the Blighted Lands.
“And then must have been a hundred thousand Sylphim come down on their islets an' started just diggin' away at the mountainside.”
“What're they doing?”
“Well I do hear a crazy tale that they're meanin' to dig up the whole damn volcano and turn it into one o' their floatin' isles.”
“That's….that's insane.”
“Ayup. Local Teklo been gettin' pretty worried, but I hear the Sylphim been makin' all sorts of preparations. Barriers an' all that, just in case they accidentally spill lava all o'er the place.”
“This really doesn't sound like a good idea….”
A pamphlet published in the Polis of Kinte and spread far and wide by traders
The great Galt Family certainly know how to put on an impressive banquet. Five Hundred guests and no fewer than two hundred and fifty different wines for them to sample between. The menu was extravagent and magnificent, with thirty different meats alone being served.
There were many invitations sent out to many of the Allied Peoples, but, continuing the strong cooperation between the Teklo and the Men of the Sea, there was an impressive Aquienos presence, headed by Captains Gol'Talshren'Di'Fra and Utu'Mana'Fra.
There was some unfortunateness when, according to reports, rebel forces dropped a body from the rooftops on to the banquet, as well as dumping Deep-Auroch viscera and organs on to one Warden, Silve Yos Serrel.
Nonetheless, the Galt Family, with their Scion, Senator Gadram, are clearly on the up in the world!

”…It is well known that the most savage beasts become emboldened by such unnatural dark and so our warriors may hope for some great hunting in the days to follow the event….”
