Utu'Mana'Fra is a rising star amongst the Navigators, despite having been plucked shivering and amnesiac from the waters of the Eastern Ocean five years ago. He has since become captain of the renowned ship, the Mana, which saved him from the sea. A year ago it was he that located the shards that fell from Hrangh and cast the enchantments which bound them to the swiftest ships of the fleet.

After the Numina War, Utu'Manitou'Fra took up the position of commodore of Star Fleet Command. This was the joint task force set up between the Navigators and War Fleet to oversee the operations of the Star Bridge constructed at Port Dawn.

Under Utu's command a base was set up around the Novacannon to help maintain and upgrade that installation as well as acting as a base of operations for missions based in the starsea. Curiously, the Command maintained a single Kirlsa engineer on its staff - Arman of the Clear Mind, an Infirm who was believed to have a close connection to the great Novacannon itself.

With Star Fleet Command operational, a number of teams were sent out on the starsea to chart the unusual tides and allow for better navigation without the skills of expert explorers to guide the ships through those celestial seas.

Utu himself slowly progressed through the ranks of the Navigators, living till a ripe old age.
