+The artisan Merry Malebolgius was responsible for some of the greatest works of art the world has ever seen.  From the reconstruction of Erli to the creation of the Starpoon, it is perhaps doubtful that the world will know such a genius ever again.  But there is a darker side to this tale.  Before his rise to fame the great artisan was taken in by the Wyrm, Thamyris.  Without any past to speak of and alone in the world he grew in her care.  She taught him the art and beauty of suffering.  Though this art he would come to bring great wonders to the world but also incredible sorrow.  When I met him his skill as a craftsman was already exceptional but with time the scope of his controversial work was to become even more impressive.  My love for him could not have been surpassed and I believe he loved me too.  However, it was that love that was to be my undoing...
